How long does it take to build a custom home?

Every custom home is different, but you can expect from 8-18 months depending on complexity, location and size. A variety of factors can affect the timeline such as the design phase, permits, site development and weather conditions.

How much does a custom home cost?

Many builders have a minimum starting point, but Lucky for you, Baker Elite builds homes at all sizes and price ranges. If you are looking for something standard without extensive special features, you can expect to spend around $165+ per square foot. Not included in this price is infrastructure costs which, depending on your location, can include running electric, putting in new water lines, and septic.

Do I have to already own property for you to build?

No! We have several properties available for purchase that we can include in your loan.

Can I live on the property in an RV while my home is being built?

If there is adequate space where you can safely park your RV away from the build site, absolutely. We have helped clients with temporary sewer, power and water so they can go ahead and move out to get their current home sold and save on those mortgage payments!
